Thursday 10 sept I had psd1 class for the week this lecture was very interesting and educative lecture, why because this lecture helped me to find my strong points skills and maybe let me discover my talent. So in the beginning of the class the teacher introduced herself to us and we also introduced our self we needed to say who we are and where we come from and what our ambition in the future is or objectives. t was very interesting to for me that every person was willing to share his ambition or passion of what to become I never had a class where everyone was open to each other to talk with about their goals in life this class made feel comfortable of sharing my passion. After that, we discussed about several topics during the class about someone talents and strong points and weak points but my issue were, that I didn’t know what my strong where so the teacher also recommended me to buy and read strength finder 2.0 to gain some knowledge about our self, and to the test to find and discover my strengths by. So by making my test I discovered my strong points My Top 5 StrengthsWhen I finally found out what my strong points where in life I was happy that I finally found new insight about myself that can help me further in my life and I can work on my strength to make it perfect. CONCLUSION the lecture What is in my backpack was very educative and interesting it helped me to understand myself. And I think that this new knowledge that I obtained in class will be useful for me in the future.

Reflection essay 2.0
The third week after the kick of week we I had psd1 subject what is in my backpack. Thursday 17 sept afternoon I had my last psd1 class for the week this lecture was very interesting and educative lecture. During the lecture we talked about the how your brain works and one thing that I didn’t knew what the best way is to use my brain effectively so we watched 3 different videos of how your brain works first video tells that it all start from baby to teenager from the start as a baby you will learn everything from A-Z that you will see of what you obtain from your parents or any adult. What I learned from this movie is that when I have an child in the future I need to help him to obtain valuable knowledge in this child introduction stage of life cycle. Second video was about a Jong teenager of 16 years old who loved to live his dreams. But the class cat high school was boring for him but when he grew up to an adult he saw the impact of school and that is how I also see it when I finished high school and intermediate Vocacional education level 2,3,4 I realize that during all those time I obtained very much knowledge and it impacted me to learn more at College International Business and Innovation. The there was a video of Robinson who has suggested that to engage and succeed in education has to develop on three fronts. 1 - First, that it should foster diversity by offering a broad curriculum and encourage individualisation of the learning process; 2-secondly, it should foster curiosity through creative teaching, which depends on high quality teacher training and development. 3- finally, it should focus on awakening creativity through alternative didactic processes that put less emphasis on standardised testing, thereby giving the responsibility for defining the course of education to individual schools and teachers. He believes that much of the present education system are not that effective for development of the brain for every student but he believes that through curiosity and creativity student will train and develop their mind better. The last video was about Daniel Amen he showed how the brain when you are engage with innovation brain function your brain is involved with everything you do, when you brain is right you are right, when your brian is troubled you are troubled. And also what I didn’t know how bad wine for your brain since knowing this I reduced drinking wine since then on. The knowledge I obtained about the last video is how an Healthy brain can bring you a wealthy efficient results and how a not healthy brain or inflexible brain can result in an not efficient The other knowledge I obtained was how the brain functions he said that the brain is complicated in human universe and the brain has 10000 connections in your scope it is the most expensive state in your body. So the advice he gave is to not hurt your brain don’t let your kid play football you have to protect your brain it is soft, and prevent obesity, smoking, or Wine, and try to eat healthy food, learn new. And because of this advice I know how to train and use my brain in an effective way because and an another knowledge that I obtained is that the brain stops developing at age 25. Thursday 24 sept afternoon I had my last psd1 class for that week Last week we talked about how to brand yourself towards your audience or how to formulate that in LinkedIn. In the past when I created LinkedIn I just made it because all my other friends had they told me that LinkedIn is great if you want to get a job abroad or internship in other countries and you can create a good network etc. Thus after everyone encourage me to make an account I just made it So during making my own LinkedIn account I tried to develop it by adding my curriculum vitea and personal stuff in it but I didn´t know what I need to write about myself to impress companies or others. So I stopped working on my LinkedIn account for about 1 whole year. Because I didn´t know at that time what my actually strength was and what actually make me special or what my talent is. So I was thinking what my strength were and what my talent are. And I was stuck for a very long period time and I was disappointed of myself for not going continuing with it. But since this lecture I know what to put in my LinkedIn account and I also what my business perspective is and personal perspective according to the golden circle. And I found out about my top 5 strengths what I already mentioned in my other essay) and also because of the pitch elevator and golden circle of myself I know now what to write and put on my LinkedIn about myself and what makes me special. But I still need to find my talents that is what I need to discover. But I am happy that I can write something for now it´s a good start.Business perspective
What – What I want to mean to people from a business perspective is to help each individual or company to achieve things beyond his or /her goals. And also someone that can be a tool for business to go to the next level in whatever they do by doing something differently than others. On Thursday 1 oct we had a Guest lecture from Gabriel Mcl Tyre who is CEO and founder of The game Beyond. Game Beyond is a company a company were all the games ideas are kept to use or work with it to create a new game etc. And he is also a consultant for other companies. But during the lecture the thing that got my attention is when answered someone question that passion is the thing that prevent you from killing yourself when he said that I was thinking about the past when I also wanted to kill myself because I thought that my life sucked because I didn’t know what I love liked, or what wanted to do in the future, And I also had personal problems at home and outside. This creepy moment soon went over when I gave myself a second chance o make something out of my life when I finished MBO 4 in Rotterdam as Business Administrator. I made a kind of a Master Plan of what I wanted to achieve in the future to work for the Jordan Brand International as a marketer communication director and shoe designer. Since that was my passion I am more committed to school then I already was. When Gabriel said that I reflected my mind back at my past and realized that passion really is the thing life that prevent you for killing yourself and glad I didn´t kill myself when I was like 16 years old. The other thing that he said what made me obtain knowledge is when he showed something on the board about creativity because I can easily explain in a strange way what creativity. For example what I thought that creativity was something that you created within your mind out of the box that is related with something. But he explained quite differently by drawing a brain with some dots and he explained that creativity is something what makes you do things faster than normal average people think they take 5 steps and creative people take 2 steps to get things done. Now I know what the concept of creativity is. For example in the past someone reads an entire book to study something but I use to watch a movie some part of the books and listen well in the class to now everything I think about the concept and someone else thinks about the concept. Backward in my history when I was born In Amsterdam south-east my mother said that after I was born I had to be operated somewhere in my ears but eventually the operations was successful. But after some years my parents found out, that I couldn’t speak properly or well the only way I communicated was by to point out to somethings or objects. And because of that I needed to go to a special school and I also needed speech therapy. So during my years in my special schools I picked everything fast after some years I could talk and communicate properly after my years in the elementary school I went to high school during my 4 years I had my ups and downs in the first year. so after 4 years in high school I went to Intermediate Vocational education what is called MBO in this country and my father didn’t believed in me during my MBO years He didn’t let me choose want I wanted so he forced me to do a course in mbo 2 and I finished the course in 1 year. After mbo 2 I was 17 years and decided to choose what I wanted and not what my father want me to do and I thank god my parents divorced because at that moment I could do what I wanted to do. And since that moment I set some goals to prove everyone wrong who didn´t believe in me for not being capable to study in higher levels of education. Thus I choose the things what I wanted to do and in 3 years’ time thank to God I passed MBO 3 financial administration and Business administrator. Now days when I look back at myself and I said to myself that I have proven my father wrong. But just 30 percent of my goals is accomplished. But my top goal is to finish college at In Holland- Diemen Zuid course International Business and Innovation in 4 years’ time. And after that I want to study further at a University level of business to have my masters. And try to get a job at the Jordan brand in the US as an marketer or communication director. I hope I can accomplish all this so that I can prove my father wrong for not believing in me when I was a small kid. On Thursday 8 oct I had the last lecture what is in my backpack of psd1 term 1 we talked about grit I knew what the meaning is of grit for example when things are hard when you want to achieve but you still keep on going it some motivational drive that is keeping you alive to reach your goal. But I didn’t know what the reason are for grit and how you can train grit to become sufficient. After that we watch a ted-talk movie about Angela lee were she explain the reason of grit she says that motivational perspective is the key to success in life and school through grit. she explain how you can work on your grit in order to have a solid work ethic. She explains how you can work on your grit and it has all to do with the growth mind set it is better to have an growth mind set instead of an fixed mind set because the more gritty you are how bigger the chance is to be better and successful. Based on her research on military school and university and high school. Since I knew this I´m trying to have an growth mind set The knowledge I obtained was about the difference about fixed mind set and growth mind set based on the theory of Carol Dweck. In a fixed mind-set, people believe their basic qualities, like their intelligence or talent, are simply fixed traits. They spend their time documenting their intelligence or talent instead of developing them. They also believe that talent alone creates success without effort but In a growth mind-set, people believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. Brains and talent are just the starting point This view creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment. Virtually all great people have had these qualities. I used to have a fixed mind set but I am willing to change my mind in a growth mind set in order to learn and obtain more knowledge and try to be successful in life because with a growth mind set I am willing to accept my mistakes and willing to learn from others etc.
