| Schedule After checking out in the hotel a tourbus will bring everybody to Umbria. This is a great destination for everybody who is interested in meditation. In the afternoon the group will stay in the farmhouse, in the heart of Umbria for working on a Olive grove with the local farm people and to explore the wonderful dishes of this magical area. Umbria, the land known for the Baci, is an area immersed in tradition. Day 8 This morning the group will go to Asisi, a historical town in the Italian region Umbrië. The most important attraction of this town is the Basilica di San Francesco. This church is constructed in 1228. And was built two years after the death of the saint this church was actually made for. On the biggest square of Assisi, Piazza del commune, you’ll find the temple of Minerva. In front of the temple of Minerva the group will get a lunch. After lunch the group will get a cultural tour trough the town with a dutch speaking guide. Day 9 Today the group will visit Tivoli. Which is about 30 km away from the hotel. Here will the group learn more about the religious background of the Italian way of life. They will visit the Church of Jesus Christ and a guide will tell more about the impact of religion in the daily lifestyle of many Italians. |
