The people

There are many different ethnic groups in England. There are the British, the Scottish and the Welsch. Each nation has its own flag, national plant and probably his own footballteam. Because of this it is very complicated to determine what the average inhabitant of England. Once, people have tried to determine this and came up with John Bull. This fictious character is supposed to be a British person with all the characteristics of the British.

There is a certain dominance in the English culture going out of the UK because it has tried to conquer all the other area's and islands, which generally worked. All the lands are combined in one nation however they are all different states.
