How, if at all, do you suppose to determine a distance value between the two ends of a beamline you've made as a particular real-number count of "meter"s, at least in principle: Would you require that (and how should be determined whether) the two distinct ends had belonged together to one and the same frame ? Would you require that (and how should be determined whether) the two distinct ends determined equal values of their distance wrt each other ? How should this be determined unambiguously without using or assuming measurement procedures of SR already to begin with ? Thanks, Frank W ~@) R |
