In https://home.deds.nl/~dvdm/dirk/Physics/Fumbles/PartialDiff.html I did indeed make the trivial error of failing to add a constant. @t/@t' = @t'/@t implies t' = t+ k. (Just integrate...) I doubt few people could really misunderstand that a clock in New York ticks at the same rate as a clock in London, even if they indicate a 5 hour difference (except Dinky, of course). However, this oversight of mine delights his neuron. |
