That is the schizophrenic definition of a schizophrenic mind.

Simultaneous is simply two events occuring in the same time.  What is
time?  Time, like in any scaleable measure, is measured from absolute
zero time?  When is absolute zero time?  At the beginning of the
universe, which currently is postulated as the Big Bang.

There it is, nice and easy.

Now let us make it a bit more complicated.  A supernova 12 light years
away from earth explodes and is seen on earth right on the new
doomsday date of 12/21/2012?  Did the event occur on 12/21/2012?
According to relativists, yes.  According to me, no.  The event
occurred on 12 years ago, and is easily extrapolated to the past by
knowing its distance and the speed of light.
