Of course. What you are trying to say is tau = (t-vx/c^2)/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2) 0 = (0.6 - v/c^2)/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2) So solve for v. 0 = (0.6 - v)/sqrt(1-v^2) = (0.6 - 0.6) v = -0.6c.
