The rate of digging holes is:

1.5 days /(1.5 man x 1.5 hole) = 1days /1.5 (man-hole)

Now, multiply the rate by 1 man and 0.5 hole. The Units in the bottom
of the rate cancel out and you are left with the days :

(1/1.5 days /(man hole)) x (1 man x 0.5 hole) = 1/3 days
