My Education

Inholland University of Applied Science, Diemen ( started in 2015)

After working for a month with a study coach at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I was pretty sure about my new study : International Business and Innovation Studies at Inholland University of Applied Science. A relatively new international program with a good mix between business, international orientation, innovation and creativity. Especially those last two things where definitly missing in my previous Business Administration bachelor program and are very important to me because of my ambition to become an entrepreneur. I joined multiple open en trial days to be sure if this program would fit all my expectations before applying. Soon I was confinced about this course and about the diferent way of learning and working with projects instead of written exams, the use of English and the creativity.

Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam ( 2014 – 2015 )

Started the Business Administration course at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. After a couple of months I found out that the program didn't meet my expectations. There was to many math in the course and the lessons were very theoretical and scientific. The focus of the course was to become a manager of an ( middle - large ) already excisting company, my interests are to create a new company. I decided to quit the program and to fill the upcoming months with some other interesting activities, where you can read more about here.

High School, Hoorn ( 2013 – 2008 )

In 2013 I graduated my pre-university secondary education. This level of education I succeeded one year faster then the common program.

Business & Innovation

Since September 2015 I joined International Business and Innovation Studies. This course comes with many different kind of lessons, workshops and assessements. To give a insight in my education and the progress I added some projects of the course below with more information about some of the lessons. The lessons I followed during the first term are :

English

Becoming an International Business Innovater, communication is one of the keypoint. Therefor mastering English language skills is one of the most imporant things. In this document, my english portfolio, give more information about the English lessons during term 1 of International Business and Innovation Studies.

International World of Business

During the lessons of the International World of Business I learned about the connections from historical economic events with the present time and to make a future prediction. For the assessement I choice the Gilded Age, a time with great industrialists in the United Stated, as my subject. Here you can find the poster presentation for this assessement : 1,2 and 3

Personal Skills Development

The lessons of Personal Skills Development were about a couple of different things and the assessements of the lessons What's in my backpack are the most interesting to show on my portfolio website. The What's in my backpack Reflection is all about what I have learned from those classed reflection on my personal life. The Masterplan is all about my goals.
