Utrecht Centraal
The main station of Utrecht, Utrecht Centraal, is too small. Because of this the station is to be upgraded within a few years. However, this renovation doesn't meet the expected growth of the future with the Etumrail plan.

In 2007 will the new high speed line in Holland be opened. The high speed trains will run between Amsterdam and Breda/Belgium. This is really important, but this high speed line could be used much better if the trains from Amsterdam should continue

Zuiderzeelijn
The north of the Netherlands has always been less developed than the western part. For this reason should infrastructure to the north be improved. This will be done in the Etumrail plan by building a high speed line between Amsterdam and Groningen.
There will also be several adaptions in the roadnetwork, and new stations will be built. For more information click here.
