ABOUT ME

I am a joyful 19 year old, studying International Business Innovation Studies. I was born in the United States, but raised back here in The Netherlands.

Friends and family would describe me as a happy, concerned and open-minded girl, who is always willing to discover new things. I enjoy travelling rather than staying home. And I would rather be around people than be alone. I sometimes can be choatic and I can drive myself crazy as well. I do not always know what I expect from myself and that confuses me. But besides that, I am very motivated, dedicated and eager to maximize my potential. I am a very happy and creative person, but can be quiet as well.

Before IBIS I studied Communicationmanagement, but could not find my passion and motivation to finish it. During my gap year I knew I wanted to go abroad. So I went to New York City for three months, and I fell in love. The City gives you the feeling like you can achieve anything you want. It makes you feel strong, successful and so, so happy. I really needed this expierence, because I was not feeling very well on a emotional level. I discovered so many new things and when I came back I felt so rich. It might sound a little overdone, but I really can not describe the feeling I had, and still have when I think back at it. The whole New York experience made me discover who I am and what my passion is. I am very glad that I am able to have found a study that suits me this well, and makes me really think about me and how my future looks like.
