Hobbies

Gaming in general.

I guess gaming is probably my biggest hobby, I love checking out new games. See what is different from other games and see if those differences make the game good or make it even better. It fascinates me how games have evolved and it makes me curious how that progress continues in the upcoming years. For example how real can graphics get? I still remember the publicity about how incredible the graphics from half-life2 were. And you could say that those same graphics are outdated right now, and this was only a couple years ago. In high school I used to play World of Warcraft, this is a massive multiplayer online role playing game. You might have heard things about it either good or bad. When it came out I was fund of it, it was like the game me and a friend of mine always wanted to play. The lore was good because I loved the strategy games from Warcraft, the storyline of those games was pretty good. Most of the story’s continued in World of Warcraft, and there got added so many more to the lore in WoW. The only thing I actually dislike about the game is that it is so much time consuming, other than that it’s an amazing game.

Before, after and when I not played WoW and still wanted to play a game I played either an FPS(shooter) or RTS(strategy). Clans are a big part in the time I spent on these games. In one clan I was around for almost six years and had an amazing time with real life friends who were also part of it and several online friends were I talked and played with for so many years. I got some real cool friends from it were I still talk to from time to time. I got some very cool memories of the fun we have had from just talking about life to achieving great victory’s trough good teamwork with the games we played.

Another hobby of mine, also a little game-related is about the hardware I use. When I was around fifteen years old I bought my first computer. Together with my uncle we put together all the parts that I bought. Building a pc yourself is way cheaper than just buying a premade computer from Dell or something. For the same amount of money I would spend for a Dell computer I would built a computer that would be almost two times faster. That computer that I built back then lasted me four years and it is still working. Even though it is still working I bought all the parts for a new computer that I put together myself a couple months ago. Hopefully it is going to last me a good four years again!
