The family of my mother has a coat of arms. But through the years the story of the coat of arms was lost. But we stil have it. The coat of arms was a part of the family tree, it goes back to 1717. But the last years the family tree wasn't updated. In spite of that we don't have the story about the coat of arms it is stil the symbol for the family.
