The Transhortis Railroad is a new railroad, designed to link Skagway to Whitehorse. The first part, linking Bennett to Carcorss, of the railroad is under construction at the moment, and we expect that the first trains can ride on it in the end of august 2006.

The railroad has been built on request of many railways, such as the White Pass & Yukon Route and the Lake George & Boulder railroad. All these companies will haul freight and passengers on the new line. The railroad is build by the Transhortis Railroad company, wich is a small division of Etum BV.
