The
same SBB Re 4/4 iv 10 104 machine is seen here at Frutigen,
but it is showing the Bahn 2000 outfit these days. When in
1994 the SBB 460 series where introduced the Bahn 2000
status was withdrawn from the Re 4/4 iv's in order to
transfer it to the
460-loco's.
Two years after that the Re 4/4 iv machines where being
exchanged and are in service at SÜDOSTBAHN nowadays. This
type of locomotive was a prototype series at SBB and only 4
machines have been built.
