What's in My backpack

What makes me tick

This is my life!

That’s what we need to keep in mind more often. Nowadays we are influenced more easily because of the mass of information available through different sources. We need to take things in our own hands and be the master of our own success. We need to do what we love and not do something for the wrong reasons.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life”. – Steve Jobs

I agree on this, I do have to trust more in my own thinking and feelings. I have to trust more in my own talent, passion and what I’m driven by to do so. Thinking now on what my talent is makes me wonder already; why can’t I list them without thinking really hard about them. One should know what their talents are. With me I find it difficult to state my talents as I wonder too much on wether I’m correct and right about them. I doubt myself too often. I do know what my passion is; I want to help people. Wether that’s going to be my actual job or next to my job. I can be working for a charity, work as a psychologist, work in a hospital or earn enough money with something which will allow me to share it with others.

My ultimate goal is to achieve my business dream; to be the CEO of my own build company. The business would have something to do with either organising events or producing commercials or maybe even a PR company. As you can read I’m not completely sure yet about the end result of my goal but I am sure that I want to be a CEO of a company that I build up myself.

“I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for you lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle”. – Steve Jobs

My thoughts exactly. Work is going to fill a large part of your life so find something that you will love doing. Of course if I will get an amazing job offer such as being a CEO of an already existing company I wouldn’t say no, I would say yes happily but being a CEO of my own build company would be the highest satisfaction for me business wise.
