Please keep the following issues in mind while roleplaying
at Sol Niger.
Privileges of Players:
- You may have as
many characters as you please.
- You may draw up
your surroundings, so long as it does not conflict with previous posts
made by other members.
- You may (and are
encouraged) to post as often as you can, granted that when interacting
you allow for the other party to take its turn.
- You may bring up
any questions or issues that may arise while you roleplay concerning
both your work and others' in the moderation forum.
Restrictions:
- All characters must
have feasible strengths and weaknesses. In order to have a powerful
character, he or she must begin in a weak state and progress. No
god-like characters are allowed.
- When interacting
with another member in a way that is not entirely peaceable (in
character), you must post your reply within ten days of their post
unless you attain permission from them or lose access to the
forum.
- Do not harass or
attack anyone out of character. While battles and duels happen in
character, be sure that they do not leave the story.
- If a member is
playing the game in a political style (commanding more than a few troops
or reigning over a group of people), that member may not attack members
who are not playing politically (a member with no more than a few
characters with an obvious intent to tell stories), unless the
non-political player is willing. This protects personal-posters, who are
most likely writing stories, from being greatly inhibited by political
players who's resources are exponentially larger.
For all
questions pertaining to these rules and subjects not covered, please refer
to the moderation forum.
