Biography of the Webmaster

Eric Weiss. First appeared in a Roleplay Game called Virtual Aydindril in the fall of 1998. This game was based upon the first four books of the Writer Terry Goodkind, and within the game Eric Weiss played a Baneling, a Minion of Evil.

Half a year later Eric Weiss and four other players from Virtual Aydindril created their own Roleplay Game based upon the books of Terry Goodkind, but set in a Modern Age. This Roleplay Game was named The Council of Truth. Eric Weiss and Atropos Megarea (Hectate) administrated the site in a later stage.

In the fall of 1999 Eric Weiss joined two more Roleplay Games. The first was named ‘The War’, and was held at Alex Rahl’s Temple of the Winds (Atotw). The second was named Dragonkind hosted on Symsay’s website and designed by her. Here, he played under the alias of Loki Ander.

In Januari 2000, after previous Roleplay Games were terminated, Eric Weiss and four others (the Webmasters Jagang and Lady Domini among them) from Atotw created Evhallion, a Fantasy Roleplay Game set in an Demon vs. Man atmosphere. To this end he changed his Screen Name to Saetan. As the years went by he became the sole Administrator of the Game, and redesigned it 3 more times, in the end using classic dungeons & dragons attributes in a semi-interactive political war game on a world of his sole design.

October 2003 Evhallion went under due to Jagang getting a car accident and the resulting financial loss that came with this. Two months later, Eric Weiss was contacted by his old friend Symsay. This resulted in the idea to created a new home for their friends. Two more friends were contacted, Ava and Shadow Walker, and soon joined in the project. The New Roleplay Game would be set in a scifi environment. The construction of Sol Niger started on the 28th December, 2003.

Eric Weiss is 27 years old. He works as a biochemist for the European Union, after work studies Computer Sciences at a local college, and designs non-profit games in his free time. He lives in the Flanders, Belgium. He is not married and doesn’t have children.
