Lege houtsnippertrein onder treinnummer 49646 tijdens doorkomst Blausee-Mitholz op maandag 26 juli 2004.
Volgens omloop zou de tractie twee maal Re 460 moeten zijn echter de foto leert dat het een dubbeltractie van twee Re 4/4 II machines
betreft. De leidende machine is de door SBB Cargo gehuurde Re 436 113 "Thun" van Regio Mittelland (met de nog altijd zo karakteristieke
grote ronde frontseinen) en de tweede machine is de SBB Cargo Re 4/4 II 11156.
De SBB huurt al geruime tijd enkele Re 436 machines van de Regio Mittelland welke technisch gelijk zijn aan de SBB Re 4/4 III serie.
Deze SBB Cargo huur machines worden zowel op de Gotthard als op de Lötschberg-line ingezet echter om ze zo voor de lens te krijgen
is een tref. RM is naast personenverkeer ook actief op Cargo gebied en is onder de naam Crossrail  Europees actief.
Het is de bedoeling dat de Regio Mittelland midden 2005 volledig gaat fuseren met ............. de BLS................
Regio Mittelland is in 1997 ontstaan uit de bedrijven van de ETB Gruppe te weten EBT (Emmental - Burgdorf -Thun-Bahn), de SMB
(Solothurn - Münster-Bahn  [Münster = Moutier]) en de VHB (Vereinigte Huttwil Bahnen).
De oorsprong van de EBT Gruppe ligt rond 1932 waarbij kleinere maatschappijen als EB, BTB en SMB samenwerking zochten in de vorm
van b.v. gezamenlijk materieel beleid enz. Door fusies in de loop der jaren bestond de EBT Gruppe na 1943 uit de EBT, SMB en de VHB
(EBT komt voort uit de EB + BTB. De uiteindelijke VHB kwam voort uit LHB + HWB + RSHB en kwam in 1944 bij de EBT Gruppe) en gaat dus
per 1997 verder onder één naam RM ofwel Regio Mittelland.
Ik ben in mijn foto archief gedoken en vond 3 opnamen uit de ETB Gruppe tijd welke de moeit waard zijn om even te tonen.

to the standard time table traction should be supplied by 2 loco’s Re 460, however this photo ‘learns us’ that Re 4/4 II machines in bi-traction have been
used. The leading machine is the Re 436 113 “Thun”, hired by SBB Cargo, from Regio Mittelland (still having its famous large front lights), and the
second machine is SBB Cargo Re 4/4 II 11156.
SBB has been hiring some Re 436 machines for quite some time from RM, which are technically identical to SBB Re 4/4 III . These hired machines take
their duties on both Gotthard and Lötschberg lines. But to be able to get them pictured is just an occation.  Besides passenger traffic RM is also working
on cargo, and is under name Crossrail operating Europe-wide.
Plans have been envisaged that RM will work together with …. BLS !
RM has been put together by collecting in 1997 the companies of the EBT group. The EBT group consists of EBT (Emmental-Burgdorf-Thun Bahn),
SMB (Soloturn-Münster bahn [Münster= Moutier]) and VHB (Vereinigte Huttwil Bahnen). EBT’s origin lies about 1932, in a situation in which smaller
companies where to seek some kind of common operation (for instance rolling stock policy, and so on). By all this melting together the EBT group
consisted in 1943 of EBT, SMB and VHB (EBT has come from EB + BTB. The final VHB has been formed of LHB + HWB + RSHB and joined in
1944 the EBT group) and continues from 1997 under one common name: RM, being Regio Mittelland.
