BLS Re 465 003 "Jungfraujoch" in dubbeltractie met een lege kleitrein bij doorkomst Blausee-Mitholz in juli 1996.

Een foto uit mijn archief, de serie Re 465 was vrij nieuw en betrof nog maar de eerste serie met de nummers 001 t/m 008.

De Re 465 003 heeft hier nog het maagdelijk BLS blauw met BLS logo zonder andere fratsen er bij. De Re 465 003 heeft amper de

eerste drie jaren in deze standaard kleurstelling gereden. In de zomer van 1999 had deze machine een 3/4 jaar het DB Cargo  logo

op de zijkant prijken. Op 6 oktober 1999 werd de Re 465 003 op een dieplader gezet en voor het warenhuis Löb te Bern werd de

werbe uitmonstering "Mistery Park" onthuld. Bij alle BLS reclame uitingen op hun Re 465 machines is de BLS huisstijl

nadrukkelijk aanwezig en is de lok als BLS machine duidelijk herkenbaar.

De BLS heeft dat beleid nu kennelijk verlaten, op 14 februari 2005 heeft de BLS Re 465 003 een nieuwe Werbe look gekregen en is

als BLS machine als zodanig onherkenbaar geworden. De presentatie van de nieuwe reclame is op de BLS site te vinden.

Gezien het reclame onderwerp Musical Saigon 20 juli  t/m 27 augustus 2005 zal deze outfit niet lang aanwezig zijn op deze machine.

Verder ligt het in de verwachting dat een aantal Re 465 machines in de New Look (volgens NINA kleuren schema) gestoken zal

gaan worden. De BLS hecht waarde aan herkenbaarheid vooral in de reizigersdienst. De Re 465 in New Look zullen dan ook ingezet

worden met de even eens in New Look EW III rijtuigen met name op de verbinding Bern - Luzern.

found in my archive – the Re 465 class was rather new – it concerned the first batch, having numbers 001 thru 008. Re 465 003 is still in its “clean” BLS blue

with just the BLS-logos and no further nonsense. This outside look lasted only three years. By summer 1999 this machine received the DB Carco logo

on its body sides. Carrying this logo lasted 8 months. On October the 6th 1999 Re 465 003 had been taken over to mass store Löb in Berne by a lorry, for

introducing and discovery of the advertisement on the loco’s sides “Mistery park” . With all advertisements on BLS-loco’s the BLS-look remains

expressively and is clearly visible.

Aparently, BLS has abandoned this policy, on February the 14th 2005 BLS got its new advertisement-look and can as a BLS machine not been recognized.

The introduction of the new commercial can be found on BLS’s internet site. Considering the design of the advertisement, Musical Saigon

20 July until 27 August 2005, carrying it would not last for a long period. For the rest, it may be expected that a number of Re 465 machines will be painted

over in the newlook. BLS considers it worthwile the stock in passenger traffic can be recognized easily. The Re465 new look will mainly be used in

combination with Ew III  coaches (also in new look) in the Bern-Luzern duties.
