Met de Gottwald kran IX wordt het nieuwe spoor op zijn plaats gehesen. Uiteraard gebeurt dat nadat het oude spoor is verwijdert, de

oude ballast is weg gegraven en een laagje nieuwe ballast is gelegd en geëgaliseerd. Hier op de foto worden nieuwe spoorsecties al

verplaatst omdat de kraan er later in de nacht op deze plek er niet meer bij kan komen. De nieuwe secties zijn in de week er voor

biels voor biels ter plekke opgebouwd. (Spreekt van zelf dat het echt in hijsen van de nieuwe delen mij te laat in de nacht was)

With the Gottwald crane IX the new track is being hoisted on its place. Of course happens that after the old track has been removed, the old ballast

has been dug gone and a new layer of ballast has been laid and has been levelled. Here on the photo new track sections are already moved because

the crane couldn’t be there no longer that night. The new sections have been built during that week, for sleeper by sleeper.

(Of course I couldn’t watch all that hoisting during the late night hours).
