Preparation for the ibis passport

I am a 20-year old German student at the InHolland University of Applied Sciences in Diemen near Amsterdam. I enjoy listening to HipHop, Jazz and House, meet with friends and to travel. My family lives in Bonn, Germany and I have an older (22) brother and 2 dogs. In my free time I also like to play a little on the Xbox One, explore the web or go to the gym. Cooking is one of the things I am planning to work on over the course of my studies, as well as maybe getting a student job for additional funds, depending on the workload of the classes.

Before I came to ibis, I studied law and business at the EBS Law School in Wiesbaden, Germany. The course did not match my expectations and I saw myself much more interested in the business compononent. Therefore I decided to drop out in April and look for another program, which would be more fitting. I went to a universtiy fair in Cologne and researched a lot on the internet, when the International Business Innovation Program at Inholland University of Applied Sciences appeared. I had not heard the term innovation a lot before, thus I did not know what to expect. I took the road trip for the Open Day and was surprised to discover the varities of topics taught here.

The reason for me chosing ibis was that I was able to partially design my individual course program through the negaotiated learning units Mircosoft® Excel, and study innovation and business in an international setting. I really enjoy the productive, supportive and creative atmosphere at Inholland. Students get together and reflect on the content of a lecture and discuss further considerations for each in their own culture, but also together. The program has so far challenged me to independently organize my files and to question arguments and implications through critical thinking and reasoning.
