  1. definition

to acquire knowledge of a skill through studies, instruction or experience: to learn French; to learn to ski. to become informed of or acquainted with: to learn the truth. to memorize: He learned the poem so he could recite it at the dinner. to gain (a habit, mannerism, etc.) by experience or exposure. This meta-skill has many different sides of it, it could be understood in many different ways, this university has the advantage of having led research on all different types of learning and is now using a less controversial and more alternative and efficient way to teach and for us to learn from.

  2. international world of business

In IWoB, the meta-skill Learn was more related to the traditional learning style, we are taught theories and history about how business’s started and developed through history. The good thing about learning at IBIS is that there are a variety of methods used by each lecturer and that makes our learning process more complete because we are learning different things in the way those things are meant to be learnt, classes of this subject are interactive, we watch videos and we are often asked to apply the theories we learn.

  3. fundamental of business

Basically we apply this meta skill in the same way as we do for IWoB, obviously here the subjects are more of a specific business matter rather than the history behind it. We learnt from examples that we could relate to , also when studying the BMC, right after the explanation of it we were asked to try and make our own for a company, I believe that this made us really understand what the different areas of the Canvas are by having real life examples from the very beginning.

  4. english

The meta-skill learn was the one I used the most here in English. This class was extremely helpful to me because I was able to learn new vocabulary every day, as well as new grammar and how things are pronounced. It also really helps me to learn how to think in English and expressing my argument in English without going through the process of translating from my Italian thoughts to English, which is what I used to do most of the times.

  5. PDS1 HTML

Learning in HTML was mostly learning from my mistakes, I’ve made a lot during this course but with continuous practice, attending classes and teacher’s help my learning in HTML and coding has imporved dramatically. HTML is a subject that a person need to feel and explore and the more you practice the more you will learn and succeed at it

  6. PSD1 Reasoning and Thinking, PSD1 what’s in my Backpack,PSD1 Information skills

I have decided to put these 3 subjects together because I feel like they are all aimed at the learning of myself as an individual from others, as well as learning about others and and what surrounds us. Learning what source of informations we can or cannot trust. Learning to not follow your first instincts but actually reason behind your thoughts. I feel like Learning about learning process was the main content of these subjects
