MGA MKI 1956
California

Originally, this MG roadster was tyrolite blue with black interior. The former owner bought this car in 1992 and a few years later he started a frame off restoration. The body was removed from the frame, the bare frame stripped all the way down and repainted.

The original miles on the car at that time read 67,236 miles. The original matching number drivetrain and 1500 engine were sent to a professional British car facility and completely rebuilt.

Strijen (The Netherlands)

This is how the car looked like when it arrived in The Netherlands. Ynse Kwast, a devoted MGA restorator, imported the car. After an accurate inspection, we came to the following conclusions:

1. This car needs a lot of work on the sheetmetal;
2. Both sills need to be replaced by new ones;
3. The front panel needs to be replaced to get the front of the body back in the right shape.

I had the privilege to make the decision of buying this car after our inspection, and I did.

Katwijk (The Netherlands)
This is how I imagine the car to be within a year. I'm not completely sure about the color, but I think it's going to be red.
