Speaking with Confidence
As I told you in my Home Page I have a struggle when I speak in front of the class. I get anxious, I lose myself for a little bit, and mix the words or I forget how to pronounce certain phrases. I picked this because definitely this NLU will have a great impact in my communication skill and in my confidence.
Spanish for beginners
Like forever I wanted to learn Spanish. I find it very challenging and very interesting. When I picked Spanish I was determined to learn a new language because it is good to have a third or a fourth language in your knowledge bag. I think in my opinion, for me at least, Spanish will be piece of cake.
Movietime: stories for business
I have always been very interested in the whole movie industry. During the market fair, I asked a second year who had taken this course last year, what the course was all about. He mentioned that it was a lot about reflecting on the movies you are going to see. Since I have already done a lot of reflecting during this period I am actually curious to see if I can do it more effectively during this course.
Visual harvesting: the power of visual stories
The main reason why I picked this is because from an early age I started drawing everything. I got the affiliation for art from my mother. She is so good at drawing sketches and she passed me her gift. My first thing when I saw this NLU I was like: This is for me. From this class I expect to learn a new way of communication. Nowadays all communication is done verbally and the use of visual communication is not so relevant anymore. I for instance do not use it that often. Therefore I want to learn how to do this and to actually use this effectively in the future.
