Coming down from the Pantanal, we end up going the same way to Bonito at the same time: Anna, Nathan, Andy, two Isreali women of respectable age but not respectable behaviour and the two of us. Andy turns out to be a dive instructor living at the Great Barrier Reef in Aussieland. He is traveling for a few months in Brazil.

"Shit! Hate those guys who only do terrible nice things in their lifes."

It won't be a surprise we get along quite well, with lots of diving stories. After a while it turns out Andy has another hobby: photography.

"That's interesting!"

"Like to see some pictures?", he asks one night when he discovers we're enthousiastic about photography too. Than you expect some plastic picture booklets, but not for Andy. He shows up with his laptop!?!?

"What the ..., a backpacker with a laptop?"

Yep, Andy takes his pictures with a digital camera and he needs his laptop to store his photos and play with them in Photoshop. "I've always wanted to be a good painter, but I'm the worst you can meet. I let the computer do the drawings for me...". The photos just blow us away, so beautiful. Anna can't believe she has been at the same place at the same time. Especially the sunset pictures are ...

See for youself!!! Because Travel-trek is proud to announce the first guest performance on its website: Andy's Pantanal Story about a great landscape, fearsome alligators, a blue miracle, amazing insects, biting piranhas and ......... mindblowing sunsets!

To give you a good impression of the way Andy looks at life and his photos, hear his philosophy:

For those of you still on the road, keep discovering new fab places for me to add to my list, as I'm planning on living a bloody long time, and working very little! Haven't actually worked out how this will be done yet, but you tell me the places, and I'll let you know how when I've cracked it!
