Directions for Moving

  1. Compare the color of the Piece you are considering moving with the Pieces listed under "Esoteric Moves". If it is listed there, then that Piece makes an Esoteric Move from this Square. If it is not listed here, then that Piece does not make an Esoteric Move from this Exoteric Square.

  2. If the Piece does make an Esoteric Move from this Square, click on the word to the right of your Piece: this will take you to the Esoteric Square into which your Piece moves.

  3. Clicking on the name of your Piece takes you to the Archive section where you research the symbolism of your Move and record it to the Game Archives.

  4. Selecting research tool servers ("Search Engines" and "Reference Desk") from the "pull-down menus" allows you to investigate the symbolism of your Move from among on-line resources.

  5. Click on the Game Board icon at the bottom of the page to return to the playing board.
