He walks to the bowl, nibbles on a few pieces of kibble, walks back to the living room - chewing and spilling pieces of kibble, then after a bit of a rest he walks back to the kitchen, nibbles again on a few pieces of kibble, walks back to the living room... etc.

So, he's quite large now. Since we moved to a bigger house, he eats even more. (The distance between the kitchen and the living room is much larger).
Putting him on a diet is quite difficult because of the others. Why make them suffer too?
