2002 - Color's Life

 Ever
since, colors have been a primary subject of interest. As much as we
talk about the subject, they will always
keep their aura. Here all the superfluous information has been filtered
in order to focus on the continual change and movement of life. This
series of photographs were made at the Floriade. |
2002 - A flag - After 11th September
|
 The
US Flag has been a constant presence in New York City. After September
11th, the number of flags grew exponentially. Because of this massive
presence, people end up to ignore it. By repeating and isolating the
subject, photography is the perfect medium through which to extend
our comprehension of this nationalistic symbol. |
2001 - Hermetic Blue

 Inspired
by musicians such as Philip Glass and Win Mertens, thirst for experimentation
brings the author to the
harmonious movements of a single color. This work was presented
in Braga, Portugal 2002. |
2001 - Sense's Prison
|
 The
senses are the first receptor of one’s surroundings. Like a door
they open or close a world of experiences. This is a series of five
self-portraits in which the author explores the duality of epicureanism
and stoicism, a duality in which one continues to contemplate erroneous
receptors. This work was in a collective exhibition ”Sentidos
Grátis” in Oporto, Portugal 2001. |
