GROUPA.PIG and other PIG files - Freescent

PIG files are Descent 2's texture files.

The only PIG file I'm distributing is GROUPA.PIG. This one works perfectly, guaranteed!
Also, note that the freescent PIG files are perfectly interchangeable: copy and rename GROUPA.PIG to ICE.PIG and you get a 'valid' ICE.PIG file!
**HOWEVER**
Interchanging the GROUPA.PIG file for any other PIG file might have some unwanted consequences. The consequences that I myself found, were that the HUD and cockpit had messy colours (caused by the .256 palette files).
Hence the reason why I am not distributing non-GROUPA.PIG files yet.




If you want 'proper' textures instead of my PIG files' dummy textures, please check wether your Descent 2 engine allows custom (possibly high-res) textures, and use those! No more dummy-textures then! :D
