   De Glacier Express van Zermatt (BVZ) via Furka Oberalp onderweg naar St Mortiz (RhB) en passeert hier
   de beroemde "Landwasser Viaduct" nabij Filisur in de zomer van 1998. Tractie werd gevormd door de
   "Werbelok" Vereina Ge 4/4 III 648. Het Landwasser Viaduct ligt in de lijn van de Rhätische Bahn van
  Chur via Thussis en Tiefencastel naar Fulisur alwaar het traject verder gaat via de Albula strecke naar
St Mortiz.  Welnu in dit jaar 2003 viert de Albula haar jubileum "100 Jahre Albula Strecke"
Reden voor mij om dit nieuwe jaar 2003 de foto van de maand te openen met een fraaie plaat van deze
smalspoorlijn en om na 5 jaar in de zomer van dit jaar  de Rhätische Bahn weer eens te bezoeken.
 
The Glacier Express from Zermat (BVZ) via Furka Oberalp is on its way to St Moritz (RhB) and travels along the
famous "Landwasser Viaduct" near Filisur, summer 1998. Power had been supplied by Ge 4/4 III, nr 648 "Vereina"
in commercial outfit. The Landwasser Viaduct is situated at one of the Rethian railway lines, connecting Chur - via
Thusis en Tiefencastel - with Filisur, where the route continues via the Albula line to St Moritz. Well, in year 2003,
the Albula line celebrates its 100 years jubilee "100 Jahre Albula Strecke".
Enough reason for me to open this new year 2003 the photo of the month with a nice shot of this narrow gauge railway
line and to visit the Rethian railway again after 5 years, next summer.
