• ABSTRACT OF THE PLAY: A ten-year-old girl, Emma, gives her father a book for Christmas in which she describes her dreams. These dreams are very unusual because they are filled with symbols of creation, destruction and decay, birth and death. In the play, the dreams are almost mystically intertwined with Emma's daily life and the lives of the people around her: her father (a psychiatrist), her aunt, her best friend, and her dance instructor.
