Tonight it's christmasnight. Every Christmas-time Jesus wants to be reborn in the hearts of the people over and over again. May the light of the coming Christ-child fill our hearts so fully with His warmth and Love that His peace may rule the world and that the suffering of those who are persucuted because of His names sake may come to an end. In that sense i do wish you a blessed Christmas and a blessed and happy New Year from the bottom of my heart.

You will ask yourselves: "Christmas greetings from someone from the Netherlands?". Undoubtedly you will receive many more christmas greetings from people known an unknown. Just in the Netherlands alone thousands of cards like these are send each year. Unfortunately many of these (beautiful) cards are being put away or thrown away after the holidays. "What us are they!".

Some years ago my mother-in-low started to collect christmas cards with biblical images. For example cards containing pictures of Joseph, Mary with the Christ-child, or cards depicting the worshipping shepherds and kings, but their escape to Egypt, etc. as well. She has accumulated a nice collection already.

I would like to surprise her with an addition to her collection by offering religious christmas cards from several countries, continents and different cultures to her. With this you can be of help to me. In case you dispose of these cards after Christmas, or have old cards or other pictures laying around somewhere wich might be an asset to my mother's collection, they will be gratefully received by me. Double cards are gratefully appreciated also. You can send them to the address mentioned below. Perhaps you have knowledge of someone from your family, friends or aquaintences who plans to dispose of his or her cards as well. Please forward this suggestion to them.

Also on behalf of my family I do express my gratitude in advace.

Wie kan mij vertellen hoe het met haar gaat?
Ik heb goede herinneringen aan haar als juf en als godsdienstlerares. Misschien heeft het ertoe bijgedragen dat ik later theologie ben gaan studeren? Graag kom ik met haar in contact/
