Why is it that everyday,
Somewhere, Somehow and Someway,
Someone does something unthinkable?

Why shoot? When one can just think reasonable.
Why kill? Life is too precise.
Why seek physical violence? Actions speak louder than words,
physical violence can say fool.
Why seek wars? When all it does is cause death.
Why do criminals, with real bad crimes, get free today? When the crime they do is so unthinkable.
Why do so many innocents get hurt? Cats get shot, children are hurt, and girls and guys are abused.

I'm not saying that wars can't happen,
but why cause so many civilians to die in its wake?
I've heard the saying, "Sacrifices for the better good"
but does it really give good?

I'm not one to say, guilty without true cause.
That those who do a "crime" should be jailed for life.
Though those who do crimes against children,
who rape or kill.
Do they really deserve a better life than jail?

If they are guilty, without a doubt.
The best punishment, is jail.
Death is release, death is freedom.
They don't deserve such a thing.

If a world could seek a simple thing,
Seek things that aren't so tragedic,
I seek love and happiness.
Never would rise a fist to get a point accross.
Never use a bullet.
I'd never be a soldier, but I will protect my family.
Never do crimes that harm.

So I wonder and ask....
Are you gonna be a cause of the bad?
Or are you going to be part of the good?

I try to be part of the good,
No one is perfect though.
Though we can all try and be that someone perfect.
