We have remakes of movies,
Is everything made?
We have restarts of movies,
Isn't that just saying you're remaking?

We have some of them good,
Never liked Halloween but the remake was good, wasn't quite the same.
Never liked the sound effects much on Dawn of the Dead,
but the remake was amazed.
Always been a fan of Jason and Freddy,
in the making of restarts.

Honestly, can't we have some really good new ones?
There was I Am Legend, great effect to it,
It was based on a book.

Honestly I have many favorite movies that were new,
and The Fountain for me was very unperdictable.

We have reality television, and writer's strikes.
Heroes are hidden,

When Music Television was music.
It doesn't count, if they are music stars.
We have The X Effect, Parental Control, and more of the dating effects.
It is all about the reality.
I'll never say otherwise, it should be RTV.

People like it, channels keep it going.
Doesn't anyone want honest interest in shows?
The only reality I like is about Animals.

We have magazines saying what one 'should be',
To be the greatest model in the world.
It brings eating disorders,
Self conscience women and men.

Girls think beauty comes from skeleton figures,
The perfect hundred dollar hairdo,
Never eat a thing for fear of gaining a pound.

News that is always relaying the bad in the world,
'Today at 5, reports of a shoot out'
'Today at 11, reports of a car wreck'

We have violent games,
Manhunt 2, Grand Theft Auto, Saint's Row and others.
It is funny how it works,
It promotes violence but theres a difference.
Most assume it makes us violent.
Its all for fun,
do you honestly think we're psychos who play games?

I remember a report once,
A kid shot up his school,
He played alot of Manhunt,
His attack was in similarity to the game,
So the game was blamed for months.

So is it true?
I remember reading once,
Those who play video games can,
actually be less violent.

All of this boils down to one thing,
Media can be fun but it has become strange.

Music fallen down the hill, except those hidden.
Give me Bright Eyes over Britney Spears, Fergie and all the thugs.

Television can be good but all the good,
is on strike, cancelled or repeats.

Movies are good but sometimes,
just sometimes, I wonder if truly unique movies are to be seen.

The media image of the perfect person,
Is so far from what really can be great.
