I write,
I read,
I make history,
My job was a historian.

I watched,
I assumed,
I listened,
I kept records for my dragon friends.

My life passed by,
I had no true heart,
No thought to love.

Upon my last assignment,
I was brought into the life,
of a beautiful woman.

She fights,
She trains,
She vanquishes evil,
She is,
a true warrior.

I watched her,
I listened to her,
I assumed I'd not love,
but that was changed.

I thank her,
I protect her,
I proposed to her,
I would die for her.

For she is my life,
And she has my heart.
If she is destoryed,
My life is gone.
